About Aalbaalu

Aalbaalu Collective was founded by childhood friends who were born and raised in the diaspora to Iranian immigrant parents. We grew up learning the importance of culture and tradition within our families, and we've always found our most creative selves when we tap into our love for our heritage.

This love inspired the creation of Aalbaalu Collective. This digital community space was founded on the belief that culture and creativity should be able to meet without pressure and without judgement. Through Aalbalu Collective, we want to highlight the beauty of being a child of the diaspora and celebrate community and culture, art and friendship, and a deep-rooted passion for creativity.
